Adrian Peterson Reinstated

Adrian Peterson has been reinstated back to the NFL after Judge David Doty ruled against the NFL Players Association's lawsuit. Now the question to ask is will Adrian Peterson be playing in a Minnesota Vikings jersey next season? Rumors are going around that Adrian Peterson was not happy on how the organization treated him when he was dealing with the court case during his child abuse case and AP felt like threw him under the bus. Adrian Peterson is not owed anymore guarantee money so Minnesota Vikings have leverage here. Adrian Peterson is scheduled to earn a base salary of 12.75 million in 2015.

At the NFL combine this past weekend Adrian Peterson's agent and some Minnesota personnel got into a heated argument that later lead to AP agent saying, "Adrian Peterson will never play in Minnesota Vikings uniform." The Minnesota Vikings have a decision to make on March 10 on whether they restructure his contract, trade him, or release him. As I said earlier he is owed 12.75 million this coming season. Then the following season he is owed 15-16 million dollars. Most NFL teams wouldn't want to pay a 30 year old running back that type of money. But, as we know Adrian Peterson is not a normal running back.

Some rumors are going around that Adrian Peterson wants to pay for the Dallas Cowboys. That move could happen considering that the Cowboys might let DeMarco Murray walk so they can franchise tag Dez Bryant. So if the Vikings were smart they would try to mend the problems they have with Adrian Peterson and his agent if they want him to stay in Minnesota. When a player says trust is broken with the organization that means he already has one foot out the door. If Adrian Peterson leaves the Minnesota Vikings they will never be the same again.

Derrick Rose Injured Again

Derrick Rose has not been healthy since he tore his ACL back in the first round of the playoffs in 2011-2012 season against the Philadelphia 76ers. This is the third straight season Derrick Rose has some type of knee injury that forces him to sit and not play for substantial time. This is the second time Derrick Rose has torn the meniscus in the right knee. The sad part was Derrick Rose was starting to become the Derrick Rose of old before he started getting knee injuries. Derrick Rose was starting to get that explosive burst he had off the dribble before he started getting injured.

Derrick Rose was averaging 18.4 points per game, and 5 assists a game in 46 games this season. It started to seem like Derrick was finally healthy again. With Derrick Rose making it through the first half of the season that was a good sight for fans and the Bulls organization to see and everyone thought he was back to the old Derrick. It is unclear when Derrick Rose injured his knee but in the game played on Monday against the Milwaukee Bucks Rose stated that his right knee didn't feel right. The pain in his knee could be the reason why he only had 8 points and shot 1-13 from the field that night playing 33 minutes.

The good thing that can come out this surgery is that he will not have to sit out for the rest of season as he did the first time he tore his meniscus. That is if he decides to remove the torn meniscus from his knee he could be back in six to eight weeks. If Derrick Rose goes with that process rather then repair it he can back in time for the first round of the playoffs. I'm sure his teammates, coaches, Bulls front office, and fans hopes he chooses that procedure. But if decides to repair the torn meniscus Kirk Hinrich and Aaron Brooks need to step up and lead this team at the point guard position throughout the playoffs.

Harden's Triple Double Leads Rockets Past Timberwolves

Harden played a very impressive game yesterday against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Most people see James Harden as just a pure scorer but he is also a good passer. James Harden does what he usually does each game by putting the team on his back. But last night Harden did more then just put his team on his back he had a career night. This was James Harden's first ever triple double.

James Harden had 31 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. Not only did he have a triple double but he also almost shook Ricky Rubio out of his shoes and made him fall. What made  it worse was not only did he make Rubio fall and embarrass him Harden hit the step back three to make matters worse. Bet Ricky Rubio will think twice when going to guard James Harden on defense next time they play. The Rockets beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 113-102.

James Harden is playing on a MVP type level this season. With Dwight Howard being injured he has still kept the team playing at high level. The Houston Rockets sits at the 3rd seed in the stacked Western Conference with a record of 38-18. Only behind Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors. When Dwight Howard comes back they could upset a lot of teams in the playoffs and make it to the NBA Finals.

Durant Injured Again

It's been clear that foot injury suffered back in October has been nagging Kevin Durant this season. He still has been playing good since he has been back since the first surgery earlier this season. But, in the All-Star game we could really start to see the foot has been bothering his game being almost nonexistent in the game. Then his first game back after All-Star break vs. the Dallas Mavericks he only scored 12 points and shot a horrendous 4-14 from the field. Before Durant starting feeling pain from his foot again he was averaging 25.4 points per game, 6.6 rebounds per game, and 4.1 assists per game in the 27 games he has played this year.

Kevin Durant has not played a game since last Thursday. Durant underwent minor surgery to repair his nagging pain in his right foot. Durant should be re-evaluated sometime next week.  Thunder GM Sam Presti stated, " That the screw that was inserted into Durant foot to repair Jones fracture in his right foot from October is rubbing against another bone in his foot which is causing Durant soreness and discomfort. To help alleviate the pain they have inserted a new screw in his foot. We will see if this helps the nagging injury in Durant's foot subside.

With the Oklahoma City Thunder making all those moves at the trade deadline you would of thought the Thunder were destined to make a championship run this season. But, without Durant in the lineup this can hurt not only their chances of being a contender for a championship but hurt their chances of even making the playoffs. Especially since the Western Conference is so stacked this season that a small slip up can have you knocked right out the playoff race in the snap of a finger. Hopefully the rumors of Kevin Durant only sitting out for two weeks is true because if he has to sit out any longer then that their playoff chances could become very slim. Even with the Thunder being on a 6 game win streak they're only 2 games ahead of the Phoenix Suns for the 8th seed so 3 losses can have them right back on the outside looking in for the playoffs.

Trade Deadline goes 0 to 100 Real Quick

Yesterday was very active day for NBA teams trying to either get big contract players off their roster to have money to spend in the off season or make their contender team an even better team. The trade deadline buzz was quiet for most of the week. But with half an hour left before the trade deadline ended is when the buzz went from 0 to 100 real quick. Many big trades happened some were what certain players were hoping for and others were shocked they got traded. Some trades were smart and some were just downright stupid to say the least.

Let's start off with the one of the best moves of the day with the Portland Trailblazers getting Aaron Afflalo and Alonzo Gee from Denver and sending Thomas Robinson, Victor Claver, Will Barton, and a protected 2016 first round pick to the Denver Nuggets. So basically the Trailblazers got the lock down sharp shooter in Afflalo without giving up any valuable player and get to keep their first round pick for this year their GM made a very smart move. The second biggest trade was the Dragic brothers going to the Miami Heat for Danny Granger, and first round picks in 2017 and 2021. Also the New Orleans Pelicans was involved in this trade sending John Salmons to the Phoenix Suns in return for Norris Cole, Shawne Williams, and Justin Hamilton.  This was a smart move for the Heat they finally get a legit point guard that can lead their team. Also their ticket sales will rise because now they can market a family business by bringing in  the two brothers from Phoenix. This was a smart moves for the Suns because it was clear Goran Dragic wasn't going to resign with the Suns in the off season and was fed up with the Suns front office.

Now let's talk about the trades that sent the veteran players back to their old stomping grounds where they started their careers at. 20 years ago Kevin Garnett started his legendary future hall of famer career back in Minnesota. Yesterday he waived his no trade clause to return back to play for the Minnesota Timberwolves and would send Thaddeus Young to the Brooklyn Nets. Many were shocked that he didn't ask Brooklyn for buyout and go be reunited with Doc Rivers in Los Angeles and contend for a championship. But, it's clear he wants to retire where he started also he has been telling people that someday he wants to buy the Minnesota Timberwolves. Also being reunited with Flip Saunders had a part to play in it too. Another veteran player being sent back to his old stomping grounds was Tayshaun Prince who was traded back to his original team Detroit Pistons yesterday afternoon. Tayshaun is the only one left still playing in the NBA that brought the Detroit Pistons a championship in the 05-06 season. The Detroit Pistons also acquired Reggie Jackson who has been praying to get traded out of Oklahoma and get a chance to start at point guard well he got his wish since Brandon Jennings is injured and out for the season with a torn Achilles. In the three team trade Phoenix acquires Marcus Thornton and a 2016 first round pick. Boston acquires Isiah Thomas, Jonas Jerebko, and Luigi Datome. In the three team trade that sent Reggie Jackson to Detroit OKC got Enes Kanter, Steve Novak, D.J. Augustin, and Kyle Singler. The Utah Jazz got Kendrick Perkins, Grant Jerett, and draft picks that have not been disclosed. The picks the Thunder got could put them contention to win a championship this year if they stay healthy.

Now the trade that shocked everyone was the three team trade between the 76ers, Suns, and Bucks. This trade sent Micheal Carter-Williams to the Bucks along with Miles Plumlee, and rookie guard Tyler Ennis. The Suns acquired Brandon Knight, and Kendall Marshall. The 76ers received draft picks the main one was LA 2015 top 5 protected picks which they will likely not get so they will have to wait until 2016 to use it where it is only top 3 protected. Everyone was shocked by this trade because Carter-Williams was suppose to be the 76ers franchise player and were suppose to build around him so that threw everyone for a loop when he got traded. Everyone was shock the Bucks traded Brandon Knight because he was having a great season and almost made the Eastern Conference All-Star team.

The 76ers were not done making surprising moves they traded their rookie KJ McDaniels away to the Houston Rockets for a second round pick and Isiah Canaan. KJ McDaniels was having a good season but you couldn't get totally mad at the 76ers for amking that move he didn't sign a normal rookie deal. He only signed for one year and more then likely would not sign with 76ers next year. The only move that 76ers did that wasn't debatable was use their cap space as leverage and acquired JaVale McGee and a 2015 first round pick from the OKC Thunder. That pick is top 18 protected and after the deal OKC just pulled off I'm sure they will fall well out the top 18.

The Houston Rockets traded away Alexey Shved and second round picks to the Knicks for Pablo Prigioni. OKC Thunder trade Ish Smith to the New Orleans Pelicans for draft picks that have not been disclosed yet.  The Wizards trade veteran guard Andre Miller for Sacramento Kings guard Ramon Sessions. This move by the Wizards will help them in the playoffs when they need some scoring and someone to run the offense correctly while John Wall gets some well needed rest. In the end this is probably one of the best NBA trade deadlines in years.

Duke-North Carolina Rivalry Continues

Duke came out strong in the first half but when Jahlil Okafor went down with an ankle injury with 3 minutes and 34 seconds left most people would think North Carolina would take over but that wasn't the case. But a minute later Matt Jones and Quinn Cook hit back to back threes to put Duke up 13. But North Carolina cut the lead to 7 which made it 49-42 at the half in favor of the Duke Blue Devils. Duke players really stepped up when Okafor went down late in the first half. This showed the depth of Duke Blue Devils to still play at a high level even without their star player Okafor.

The second half was a different story North Carolina came out the gate strong started off by Tar Heels sophomore big man Kennedy Meeks. North Carolina Tar Heels got their first lead in the second half with 15:54 left in the second half up 54-53. Then with Carolina up 5 with 1:23 left in the game on the inbound the Tar Heels throw the ball away which gave the ball back to the Blue Devils. But the next play Tyus Jones throws it away on the inbound it seems like nerves was starting to get to the players on the court. Bryce Johnson shoots a 1 of 1 and misses off the front rim and north Carolina couldn't get the rebound and it goes out of bounds. Next play Tyus Jones comes down the court and drives to the basket and scores a layup which ties the game up at 81-81 with 27.5 seconds left in the game. So it was North Carolina chance to hold the ball and score the last shot. But they held the ball but couldn't score Marcus Paige shot the contested three for the win but missed.

So we head to overtime both teams were trading baskets back and forth. Okafor made a post moved that he scored off of to put Duke up 90 to 89 with 1:42 left in overtime. Quinn Cook two free throws sealed the game and Duke won the overtime thriller 92 to 90. Quinn Cook finished with 22 points. Freshman Tyus Jones added 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists. The other freshman in Jahlil Okafor and Justice Winslow contributed as well. Okafor finished with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Justice Winslow had 16 points and 7 assists. Amile Jefferson also finished with 13 points, 6 blocks, and 5 rebounds.

Kennedy Meeks  had a good game for the Tar Heels finishing with 18 points, and 7 rebounds. Brice Johnson also finished with 18 points, and 12 rebounds. J.P. Tokoto had 15 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 assists. Isiah Hicks had 12 points and 3 rebounds. Nate Britt had 11 points. Marcus Paige was basically nonexistent he only scored 5 points shooting 2 for 11 from the field Quinn Cook had Paige on locks for majority of the game. However Marcus Paige did have 5 rebounds and 3 assists. After this game Duke Blue Devils are now 23-3 and the North Carolina  Tar Heels falls to 18-8. Both teams don't play their next game until Saturday North Carolina plays Georgia Tech and Duke plays Clemson.

Melo Shutting It Down for The Season

Carmelo Anthony is shutting it down for the remainder of the season. This should be no surprise to anyone especially with the Knicks having a horrible season. The Knicks are currently 10-43 with no chance of making the playoffs. But, they do have a chance of getting the number 1 pick in the draft so shutting Melo down will help their chances of locking up the number one in the 2015 NBA lottery. Carmelo Anthony will undergo surgery on his left knee.

Carmelo was averaging 24.2 points per game, 6.6 rebounds per game, and 3 assists per game. He was having a pretty good season even while playing injured. Some players in the NBA can't even do that when their 100% healthy. At least he is not Derrick Rose he rarely gets injured in his 12 year career in the NBA. For the most part Carmelo Anthony always plays majority of the games during each season except towards the end when coaches sit him to get rest before the playoffs start. So no one should question Carmelo Anthony toughness because it's clear he been dealing with knee pain the whole season and still has been playing at a high level.

With Carmelo Anthony sitting for the rest of the season this will give the Knicks a chance to lose more games to lockup the number 1 pick and make them a favorite to land Jahlil Okafor. The Knicks need a center badly and Okafor will help them tremendously. Also with rumors that Knicks will target top tier free agents this summer the move to sit Melo for the rest of the season is very smart. With Melo getting surgery on his left knee and time to rest he will be healthy and if the free agency goes right for the Knicks they can be back in the playoffs again and compete for a championship next year.

Amare Leans Toward Signing With Dallas Mavericks

Going into his final year on his contract New York Knicks decides to part ways with Amare Stoudemire on Monday. Sources were saying Amare would get many interests from championship contenders looking to add value to their front court coming off the bench. Teams that were interested in Amare was the Mavericks, Blazers, Suns and Clippers. But, Amare said from day 1 that when he clears waivers he wanted to sign with the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavericks made it clear that they want to sign Amare Stoudemire.

I feel as though coming to a buyout was a good move for both the Knicks and Amare. The buyout was good for the Knicks because they free up some cap space for the upcoming off season and now have the money to sign some free agents. This was a good move for Amare because now he can play for contender and has a chance at winning a championship this year and doesn't have to waste his last few years in the league on team competing for the number #1 draft pick. When they should be competing for a championship. Also coming off the bench will cut Amare minutes which will give him a better chance of staying healthy.

This season Amare Stoudemire is averaging 12 points per game, 6.8 rebounds per game, and shooting 54% from the field. So if Amare can average at least just 8 to 10 points per game and 5 or more rebounds per game off the bench this will help the Dallas Mavericks tremendously. They need front court help off the bench badly especially when they made the trade for Rajon Rondo and parted ways with Brandan Wright. Also on back to back games Rick Carlisle can rest either Dirk Nowitzki or Tyson Chandler and start Amare Stoudemire in their place to give them rest. Getting Amare could be the missing piece that Dallas has been missing to win another championship.

All-Star weekend

All-Star weekend was probably one of the livest in the last couple of years from the shooting stars contest, skills challenge, to the stacked field in the 3 point shooting contest, dunk contest, and the all-star game. Let's not forget it was in one of the livest cities in the country. As well as the all-star events and all-star game being played in the historic Madison Square Garden. Everyone always brings their A game when it comes to Madison Square Garden. The fans that were attendance sure got their money worth this weekend.

For the shooting stars contest Team Bosh wins their 3rd straight shooting stars event.  Team Bosh got a challenge first round from Team Westbrook with Team Bosh finishing in 30.8 seconds and Team Westbrook finishing in 35.2. But the final round was a different story with Team Bosh finishing in 57.6 seconds and Team Westbrook finishing in a minute and 30 seconds. Team Bosh consisted of Chris Bosh, Dominque Wilkins, and Swin Cash. Team Westbrook consisted of Russell Westbrook, Penny Hardaway, and Tamika Catchings.

In the skills contest the fill in for John Wall who was Patrick Beverley shocked everyone and won the contest somehow. This year they had two players go at a time instead of one of time. I thought that was a good idea because it made it more competitive. After struggling with the chest pass for both rounds Beverley persistence gave him a chance to win. In the final round against Brandon Knight Patrick was behind yet again due to chest passes but somehow was able to win after Knight missed the three point jumper twice which gave Beverley time to come down and hit the three on his first attempt to win his first skills challenge and also win a kid a college scholarship.

The three point contest was expected to be the livest event of All-Star weekend. With a stacked field that consist of Kyle Korver, Wesley Matthews, JJ Redick, James Harden, Marco Bellinelli, Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson, and Steph Curry. With Korver headline the 3 point shootout competition because of his 52 % shooting percentage from the 3 point line. The Splash brothers and Uncle Drew stole the show. With Uncle Drew aka Kyrie Irving putting up 23 in the first round he cooled down in the second round just scoring 17. But Steph Curry did the exact opposite he heated up and scored 27 in the final round that not even Klay Thompson could beat that night. This lead to Steph Curry winning his first 3 point shootout contest.

Then comes the dunk contest which everybody thought would be the weakest part of All-Star weekend as it has been for the last several years. But this weekend Zach Lavine and Victor Oladipo made it the best event of All-Star weekend outside of the All-Star game.  Victor Oladipo started the dunk contest off with a 540 dunk to get the crowd into early and received a perfect score of 50. But Zach Lavine answered back with the space jam dunk between the legs dunk his head almost hit the rim which also gave him a 50. Then Lavine second dunk in the first round he put the ball behind the back and switched hands and dunked it which gave him another 50. In the final round Zach Lavine beat Victor Oladipo 94-72 to become the second youngest player to ever win the dunk contest outside of Kobe Bryant

The final event to cap All-Star weekend was the actual All-Star game. Everyone expected Carmelo Anthony to steal the show considering it was his court but he didn't he shot 6 for 20 and only scored 14. Instead LeBron James and Russell Westbrook took over the show. The East was getting killed in the 1st half until Korver came in and knocked down several threes that brought the East back within striking distance. At the end of the first half it was 83-82 West was up by 1. But what was even more exciting then seeing the West come back was Russell Westbrook scoring 27 points in a 11 minutes. But in the end the East couldn't beat the West even with LeBron James scoring 30 points  along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds. The final score was 163-158 in favor of the West. Russell Westbrook finished with 41 points 1 point shy of Wilt Chamberlain All-Star record for most points in a game. Also Chris Paul had a silent 12 points, 15 assists, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals.

All-Star Snub Once Again

For the second year in a row Los Angles Clippers Center Deandre Jordan has been snubbed from the Western Conference All-Star team. It was already shocking when he didn't get selected by the coaches to make the All-Star team. But, it was even more shocking when last night Anthony Davis pulled out of the All-Star game because of a shoulder injury. So anybody with some common sense would think Deandre Jordan would be the right candidate to take his place since he is also an big man that plays defense and rebounds just as well as Anthony Davis. Especially when Deandre just had another 20-20 game again last night. Deandre leads the league in rebounds with 13.8 a game and also leads the league in field goal shooting percentage with 72%. Deandre Jordan is second in the NBA in blocks averaging 2.35. Deandre also averages 10.7 points per game. But instead they chose old aged Dirk Nowitzki.

Don't get me wrong Dirk Nowitzki is a great player and probably a first ballot Hall of Famer but it's time for the younger athletes to get some shine. You know the term out with the old in with the new. I know I'm not the only one tired of seeing Dirk shooting that fade away kick backed jump shot. In the All-Star game people watch it to see killer crossovers and alley oops dunks. Dirk doesn't have a killer crossover and rarely dunks the ball especially at his old age. Deandre Jordan however does catch a lot of alley oop dunks or just downright dunks on people in general.

In my eyes Deandre Jordan would of been the right player to take Anthony Davis spot on the All-Star team. But it seems to me Adam Silver was showing favoritism to the veteran Dirk Nowitzki. An All-Star game is mainly for the fans to see all their favorite players on one court playing on the same team or against each other. For most of the game their players are playing little to no defense until the 4th quarter. If Deandre Jordan was in this game he would of caught many alley oops from his Clippers teammate Chris Paul.

Kyle Korver Replaces Wade

Kyle Korver finally makes his first All-Star appearance after being in the NBA since 2003. It has been a long time coming but Kyle Korver finally get his 1st NBA All-Star appearance. In my eyes he should of got his first All-Star appearance by the coaches decision not by Wade having to pull out because of injury. The Atlanta Hawks are 43-10 they had the right to have 4 players from there team make the Eastern Conference All-Star team. It shouldn't have come down to Wade being injured for Korver to get the nod to make the All-Star team.

Kyle Korver has been averaging his career best in 12.9 points per game, and shooting an above average 52% from the three point line not to many people in NBA history can say that. Also Kyle Korver is shooting 51.6 % from the field in general, and 90% from the free throw line only player to ever have all these shooting percentages was Steve Kerr. You may say 12.9 points per game is not a lot which is true but when you have a well balanced team like the Atlanta Hawks your not going to averaging no 25 points per game. The leading scorer for the Atlanta Hawks is Jeff Teague and he only averages 17.2 points a game. This shows you they're a very balanced team they have 5 players that score in double figures a game which is outstanding.

Kyle Korver also helps the Eastern Conference All-Stars height wise coming off the bench being 6'7 where he can play either the shooting guard or small forward. Because compared to the Western Conference the Eastern Conference is out sized tremendously. So I feel Jimmy Butler and Kyle Korver gives them good length on the perimeter when they come off the bench. Also Korver great shooting might keep the East in the game because the Western Conference has nothing but elite scorers on their team even without Kobe Bryant playing so the East needs all the shooters they can get. But in the end I'm glad Adam Silver selected Kyle Korver to make his first NBA All-Star appearance.

20-20 Game

If you haven't noticed Deandre Jordan is becoming a forced to be reckoned with. He is no longer the big man that can just play defense like he was in his first year in the NBA during the 08-09 season. Deandre is becoming an all around big man he can lock down the best big man on defense then come down on offense and catch a highlight reel alley oop from one of his teammates. Only thing his game is missing is really missing is a jump shot but who really needs a jump shot when you can literally jump over and dunk on whoever is guarding you. But once again the NBA hasn't really realized the evolution of Deandre Jordan game because he once again was a NBA All star snub for the second year in a row. Deandre Jordan is averaging 10.5 points per game, 13.7 rebounds per game, and 2.4 blocks per game.

Last night Deandre Jordan had his second 20-20 game in the last 5 games. Previously he had not had a 20-20 in his career until last week and last night. His other 20-20 game occurred on February 2nd against the Brooklyn Nets. Deandre Jordan took it to the Dallas Mavericks last night once Tyson Chandler went down with less then 3 minutes into the game with an ankle injury. That basically gave Deandre the green light to go off  especially with old aged Dirk Nowitzki guarding him who hardly plays any type of defense. Every missed shot was Deandre Jordan rebound nobody could keep him off the glass. Then on the defense of side any man that dared to drive down the lane while he was there was getting their shot blocked off the backboard.

Deandre Jordan finished with 22 points and a career high 27 rebounds. They are going to need more of that from him since Blake Griffin is injured. Also with the help of Deandre Jordan beast mode game yesterday the Los Angeles Clippers were able to snap their 4 game losing streak and finish off their 8 game road trip on a high. If Deandre Jordan keeps playing like this and Blake Griffin gets healthy I don't see too many teams in the West or Eastern conference beating them. The Los Angeles Clippers beat the Dallas Mavericks 115-98. But more importantly Deandre Jordan's Mom got to see her son have a career game last night.

Bad Play Call Costs Seattle Seahawks Championship

After that amazing catch by Jermaine Kearse laying with his back on the ground you would of thought the Patriots were having a flashback of that David Tyree helmet catch that cost them a Super Bowl. So every Patriots player, coach, and fan felt their chances of winning the Super Bowl 49 slowly fading away. But little did anybody know that Pete Carroll was about to call a questionable call that would cost the Seahawks from winning back to back Super Bowl's. I mean yeah everybody in that stadium thought the ball was going to Marshawn at the 1 yard line but, that was even more of a reason to run the read option which would of had Russell Wilson easily run into the end zone untouched. Or even he did get stopped on second down the Seahawks still had 2 more downs and most importantly two more timeouts. So I didn't see what the rush to score was from Pete Carroll he should of took as much time as he could off the clock before the score because we all know how legendary Tom Brady can be and how fast he can get the ball down the field.

Or even if you did throw the ball why would you throw it to a no name receiver in Ricardo Lockette who isn't built yet for big plays like that. Also if you look really closely at the play Marshawn Lynch had beat the linebacker in the flat and was wide open. I just don't understand if you have a top 5 back in the league in the backfield that everyone calls "beast mode" why wouldn't you give him the ball who cares if the defense knows the ball is going to him it's not like they are going to stop it. Especially when Marshawn Lynch is 17 for 20 for 3rd & 4th down in short yardage situations the numbers speak for themselves. So anyone with some common sense would of gave Marshawn Lynch the ball. The Patriots defense 81% of time have allowed teams to score on run situations inside the 2 yard line. Clearly Pete  Carroll didn't do his research or he would of been holding up the Lombardi trophy again last Sunday.

That costly interception by Russell Wilson gives Tom Brady his 4th Super Bowl in 6 tries. This championship ring most definitely now puts him in the talk of being as good or better then Joe Montana. People may not like Brady because some think he is too cocky but let's remember he only had one really talented receiver and that was Randy Moss. All his other receiver cores has been so so. You may say what about Wes Welker but in all honestly Welker was a good slot receiver that played his role well which basically made him a great role player rather then a star.

But Seattle Seahawks have a lot of decisions to make in the off season. Such as how much will they give Russell Wilson will they offer him the max deal? If they over Russell Wilson the max deal will they have enough money to sign Bobby Wagner back? Will they go after a pass rusher in free agency? Also the main question will they have enough to sign a legitimate #1 receiver in free agency or get one in the draft? Because that whole season it looked like they missed that blazing speed game changing receiver like Golden Tate and Percy Harvin.
