Golden State Wins NBA Finals
Last night the Golden State Warriors was able to rap up the NBA Finals and win their first NBA Championship in 40 years. The final score was 105-97 Golden State way. Golden State beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 4 to 2 in NBA Finals. The Warriors not only dominated the NBA in the regular season but also in the postseason as well. The Golden State Warriors record combined between with the regular season & postseason was 83-20 which is phenomenal.
The loss of Kevin Love & Kyrie Irving started show in the NBA Finals but LeBron still kept the Cavs in at least contention of challenging the Warriors for a championship. But, in game 5 that lineup change by Steve Kerr really sealed the deal for the Warriors to win a championship. The Warriors lineup gave the Cavaliers trouble in game 5 and game 6. Andre Igoudala was the key to the Warriors beating the Cavaliers in the finals he slowed down LeBron when he was guarding him and scored on the offense end as well. Andre Igoudala won the NBA Finals MVP which he certainly deserved.
Last night Steph Curry played a phenomenal game he had 25 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals. Andre Igoudala played a great game he had 25 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals. Draymond Green had a triple double in the closeout game finishing with 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. Festus Ezeli had 10 points, and 4 rebounds off the bench. Shaun Livingston had 10 points, and 3 rebounds.
