Greg Hardy Decides On Dallas Over Tampa Bay

Today Greg Hardy will make a decision on whether he will play for the Dallas Cowboys or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Rumors are that Tampa Bay has lost interest in Greg Hardy and have pulled out of negotiations. So everything is pointed to him signing with Dallas Cowboys. Hardy met with Dallas yesterday afternoon and stayed in Dallas for the night. Word going around is the meeting between Dallas and Hardy went well and both sides were interested in each other. This afternoon Greg Hardy signed with Dallas for 1 year with a deal up to 13.1 million dollars.

For those of you who don't know who Greg Hardy is he is a defensive end from University of Mississippi who has played 5 years in the league all with the Carolina Panthers. Greg Hardy played only one game last season because he was on the commissioner's exempt list for a domestic violence case against his girlfriend. But those domestic charges were dismissed last month since they couldn't find the girlfriend for her to testify. Greg Hardy can still face suspension for the domestic violence charges for this upcoming season. Rumors are going around that he could be suspended up to 6 games for the 2015-2016 season.

In Greg Hardy's 5 year career he has had 34 sacks and 204 tackles. Greg Hardy is a beast at rushing the quarterback he gives quarterbacks nightmares. If it wasn't for the off field issues Greg Hardy probably would have been signed within the first week of free agency. He was by far one of the best defensive players in free agency probably only behind Ndamukong Suh. Dallas is a good fit for Hardy because Dallas always turns player's with a troubled past and turns them around and revives their career. If Hardy plays the way he usually plays and stays out of trouble he could be the pass rusher that Dallas needed to make a championship run.
