Wisconsin-Kentucky Final 4 rematch

With both Kentucky and Wisconsin winning this weekend in the elite 8 they both advanced to the final 4. Wisconsin gets the rematch they been wanting. They were left last year around this time with a bitter feeling losing 74 to 73 Kentucky in last year's final four. Kentucky won from a game winning shot from Aaron Harrison. But some of their key players from that last year's Kentucky team went to the NBA such as Julius Randle, and James Young.

However last year around this time Kentucky didn't have their lock down post defender in Willie Cauley-Stein so that should help them. Also they still have the Harrison twins back and star freshman players Trey Lyles and Karl-Anthony Towns. Karl-Anthony Towns basically picked apart the Notre Dame defense he basically did whatever he wanted to do finishing with 25 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block. But that will be a different story when they play Wisconsin Frank Kaminsky will not let him have his way in the post. So Kentucky will need their guard play from the Harrison twins, Devin Booker, and Tyler Ulis to step up.

The one thing going in the Wisconsin Badgers favor is majority of the team that went to last year's final four will play in this year's final four. So this team already knows what to expect in this final four game. Wisconsin has a lot more experience then the Kentucky team and that could be a key factor in them beating Kentucky this Saturday night. Another factor to Wisconsin beating Kentucky is an improved Frank Kaminsky who had just scored 8 points in last year's final four game vs. Kentucky. This year Frank Kaminsky is a finalist for the National Player of the Year he has improved drastically. Frank Kaminsky had 29 points and 6 rebounds against Arizona he's been having a phenomenal season and it has continued in the NCAA Tournament. Karl-Anthony Towns & Willie Cauley-Stein will have their hands full guarding him. Sam Dekker had another phenomenal game and had 27 points and 5 rebounds. I don't see Lyles locking down Dekker look for Dekker to have another 25 or more type game. Bu the main piece for Wisconsin to pull off the upset over Kentucky is Nigel Hayes he must help slow down Karl Anthony-Towns as well get rebounds on the defensive end to keep Kentucky from getting second chance points and score 8 or points on the offensive side. We will see who will prevail on Saturday Night to go to the National Championship game.
